Tory leads remains in the double digits at 16 points over Labour

The Conservative poll lead has remained relatively high, dropping very slightly to 16 points over Labour.

The Conservatives are on 46% (down 1 point from last week), while Labour remains steady on 30%.

UKIP remains in fourth place on 7%, with the Lib Dems in third place on 9% (up 1 point).

 

Leader Approval Ratings

Theresa May’s net rating continues to steadily decline as the number that disapprove of her leadership increase. Her net approval rating now stands at +13% (46% approve vs 33% approve), down from +17% last week.

Over two in five (46%) think that Theresa May would be the best prime minister (down from 49% immediately after the election was called, but up from 44% last week). On the other hand 18% say Jeremy Corbyn would make the best prime minister.

A quarter (25%) said neither of them would be the best PM and 11% didn’t know.
