Political Polling – 26th April 2016

26th April 2016

The last poll, conducted at the end of March amongst adults in Great Britain rather than across the whole UK, gave the Leave campaign a lead of four points, suggesting that there has been some slight movement towards the Remain campaign over the last month.

This has primarily been due to the Remain campaign solidifying their lead amongst Labour and Lib Dem voters. 59% of Labour voters and 68% of Lib Dem voters are now intending to vote to stay in the European Union.

Conservative voters remain almost evenly divided on whether or not to leave the EU.

Voting intention – all parties

The Conservatives, on 38%, have an eight-point lead over the Labour Party on 30%.

UKIP are in third with 15% while the Liberal Democrats are on 5%, the SNP on 5% and the Greens are also on 5%.
