Boots: informing communications campaigns

The Need

In order to maintain a clear understanding of a wide range of target markets and to inform communications campaigns, Boots conduct regular research amongst different groups of consumers gathering insight on a variety of topics and issues.

Our Approach

Opinium uses its extensively profiled panel to provide insight for seasonal areas of interest (e.g. hay fever, winter flu etc) as well as specific audience groups (recent studies include a study of teenagers on their skin, over 50s on heart disease knowledge and women about their vision / eye health). The studies cover usage and attitudes as well as awareness of different health conditions and available products.

The Outcome

The research is used through the business to inform business strategy and sales teams as well as forming the an integral part of awareness campaigns and communication work for product launches.
